Top Law firm based in Mineola is seeking an Office Assistant/Receptionist on a temp to perm basis. This opportunity has a lot of opportunity for growth.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Office Assistant/Receptionist experience looking to get their foot in the door with a well-respected law firm.

The position is paying up to $21 and the firm would like to hire ASAP.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate Employee or Attorney
• Collect basic client information to brief the Employee or Attorney before transferring the call
• Retrieve files for Attorneys as needed
• Scan and upload documents into the filing system
• Assist with large-scale mailings when required
• Log and stamp all incoming mail
• Order office supplies as necessary (e.g., Quill, Staples)
• Schedule FedEx pickups for employees when needed
• Enter and upload data into online systems

Requirements:

• Friendly and professional phone demeanor for interacting with clients
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Highly organized
• Preferred experience in a legal environment
