Sterling Automotive Group is hiring! We are looking for outgoing individuals who take pride in serving Acadiana and being a part of a successful family-owned and operated business.

As a Title Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of documents for state registration, tax, and titles. You will also ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare tax and title documents, stock cards, financial and legal documents, and payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins
• Process documents for state registration, ensuring accuracy in sales and purchase paperwork.
• Maintain and organize vehicle sales records
• Submit bills, warranties, and service contracts to agencies such as the DMV
• Order new vehicles and register extended service policy contracts
• Post vehicle sales and purchases and report new car sales to the manufacturer

Qualifications and Requirements

• Two or more years of experience as a Title Clerk and/or in an Automotive Dealership setting is strongly preferred
• A team player with a great attitude who will maintain a professional demeanor and appearance
• Strong time-management and multitasking abilities and detail-oriented
• Must be organized, have strong communication skills, pay attention to detail, and possess strong time-management abilities
• Must be comfortable with computers and other office equipment such as scanners, faxes, and multi-line phone systems
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment background check & drug screen
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
