Position Overview

Role: Physician for Urgent Care Telehealth Program
Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: Flexible scheduling options available
Compensation: Hourly rates range from $112 to $120, with additional pay for supervision and night/weekend work

Additional Compensation:

$150/month for supervising Nurse Practitioners (approximately one hour of supervision per month per NP)
15% hourly differential for work performed during nights and weekends
Responsibilities:

Serve as a supervising physician for a team of at least five Nurse Practitioners, conducting quarterly chart reviews and holding virtual meetings as needed.
Provide synchronous video and phone evaluations, along with asynchronous communication, to meet patient needs.
Deliver urgent care treatment for a variety of conditions, including minor injuries, respiratory infections, skin issues, gastrointestinal problems, allergies, and more.
Engage with a diverse patient population, prioritizing inclusivity and evidence-based care for all.
Requirements:

Active MD or DO license in good standing in five states, including California and at least three of the following: Pennsylvania, Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Missouri, Mississippi, South Carolina, or Tennessee.
Board certification and valid DEA certification are required.
Minimum of two years of independent practice experience post-graduation.
Ability to supervise at least five Nurse Practitioners.
Proficiency with technology, professionalism, and excellent communication skills.
Telemedicine or virtual care experience is strongly preferred.
