Intercontinental Seattle Bellevue and Silverstein Properties is looking for a Marketing and Social Media Manager to oversee marketing for the Avenue Bellevue project.

Located in the heart of downtown Bellevue, Washington, Avenue Bellevue is a new real estate project featuring 365 luxury residences, 85,000 square feet of retail space, as well as the Pacific Northwest's first-ever InterContinental Hotel with a lobby bar, restaurant and fitness center, meeting space and other luxury amenities.

The Marketing and Social Media Manager will be responsible for promoting the property through earned media, online marketing, social media, events and activations. They will work closely with the property manager, residential sales team, retail leasing team, InterContinental Hotel management, and retail tenants on a wide range of activities. They will also establish and maintain relationships with the Bellevue business, political, arts and philanthropic community.

This role would report to the Avenue Bellevue Project Manager and the Chief Marketing Officer for Silverstein Properties.

You Will…

  • Capture and create original photo and video content of the property, events and activations, and manage social media channels for the property as well as the on-site InterContinental Hotel
  • Produce quarterly plans for hotel social media, and coordinate with hotel’s General Manager / Director of Sales and Marketing with previews and bi-weekly meetings
  • Support the condominium sales team by reviewing and coordinating the creative agencies’ marketing materials, including the property’s website, online ads, social media channels, and printed materials
  • Support the retail leasing team
  • Oversee events and activations, including “Art on the Avenue,” a collection of street-level pop-up contemporary art galleries at Avenue Bellevue. The art displays feature work of over 30 local, national, and international artists in seven separate storefronts, and is open to the public
  • Tour reporters, community leaders, and other visitors through the property
  • Work with the hotel events team to attract events and guests to the property
  • Act as “boots on the ground” for ownership for any on-site marketing and event coordination needs
  • Maintain excellent ongoing relationships with potential and current residents
  • Help plan, schedule and organize resident events as needed to promote resident retention and increase resident satisfaction
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign success and identify areas for improvement
  • Work on site Monday - Thursday, Fridays remote if needed
  • Be available to occasionally work evening hours and weekends for events
  • Occasionally travel to New York City

You have…

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the hospitality, retail or food and beverage industry
  • Experience with social media and digital marketing channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Graphic design (e.g. Canva) skills a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills for following up with email and phone inquiries
  • Local knowledge of the Bellevue and/or Seattle area
  • High-energy, able to work well with others
  • Creative thinking for self-starting event, social media, and other marketing efforts

Salary: $85,000-$95,000 annually

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $95,000 annually. The position will be paid by the Intercontinental Seattle Bellevue. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and education. In addition to the base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses.
