The Loader/Unloader is responsible for loading and unloading trailers while following company and safety guidelines. This role typically reports into the Operations Supervisor and is based in our Stockbridge Distribution Center. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trailers, sorting, and stacking cases on pallets, shrink wrapping pallets, observing housekeeping, safety and C-TPAT compliance in assigned area of responsibility, staying within compliance of company safety policies, working efficiently and accurately in a production environment, performing other tasks as assigned including pulling during low volume periods, and supporting the Coordinator/Supervisor in all duties including all operational areas of the Distribution Center. Requirements include basic knowledge of WMOS including scanner tasks and functions, being a team player willing to perform various job duties to support department and facility objectives and KPIs, a customer-service orientation, ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively, scan with RF equipment, bend, twist, and be on feet for shifts up to 12 hours, ability to communicate clearly and effectively, flexibility to work overtime and comply with blackout periods during peak periods, and efficiently handling tasks including material handling and stock movement.
