Job Description
Position Purpose:
This is a unique position in a highly entrepreneurial environment with ambitious growth goals with the support of one of the largest retailers in the world (108 year old successful bedding company acquired by Fortune 17 organization). This position has day to day responsibility to plan and execute marketing programs (SEO and SEM) designed to increase sales, raise awareness of brand and product offerings. The primary function is to partner with merchandising, operations and marketing managers to activate, communicate and execute new product launches, manage existing products and coordinate sales events and promotions.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
30% - Campaign Planning: Planning and executing marketing plans for organic and paid search. Campaign planning, ongoing optimizations and weekly reporting. Partner with Advertising, Marketing, Merchandising & Operations
20% - Vendor Management: Manage outside vendors and agencies to ensure execution of programs and tactics on time and within budget. Manage projects and the allotment of money to meet budgetary and segment goals.
20% - Keyword Research: Perform keyword research in coordination with company business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities.
20% - Manage Spend: Projecting and tracking Return-on-investment (ROI) and sales for initiatives
10% - Coordinate Best Practices: Educate organization regarding organic and paid search marketing programs.
Qualifications:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
3 years' experience within SEO/SEM analytics
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Microsoft PowerPoint
Working knowledge of SA360, GoogleAds, Google Search Console, SEM Brush, Conductor, BrightEdge
Nice to Have: Salesforce
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated project management skills
