Job Description

Summary:  We are seeking a motivated and results-driven  Entry-Level Sales & Business Development Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their careers in sales, business development, account management, and customer service. You will play a key role in generating leads, managing client relationships, estimating project costs, and ensuring excellent customer service. The program consist of 3 – 4 rotational assignments over a 12-18 month period, culminating in placement in a functional role in business development or account manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development
  • Identify and engage potential customers through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
  • Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
  • Schedule and participate in sales meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of company products/services to effectively communicate value to clients.
  • Account Management and Customer Service
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing prompt and professional support.
  • Proactively identify customer needs and offer solutions to drive satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and service delivery.
  • Estimating and Proposal Development
  • Assist in preparing accurate estimates and price quotes for customers.
  • Review project requirements and specifications to determine costs and pricing strategies.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure competitive and profitable proposals.
  • Administrative and CRM Management
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress in CRM software.
  • Generate reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Support the development of marketing materials, sales presentations, and promotional campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Experience in data analytics and database management is a plus.
  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, or estimating is beneficial but not required.
