Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented professional to join our team as a Physician Panel Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a network of physicians, negotiating costs within established guidelines, and onboarding new physicians to meet the needs of our clients. This position requires a proactive, results-driven individual who is focused on achieving and exceeding recruitment targets. As part of a collaborative and supportive team, your contributions will directly impact client satisfaction and the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Panel Maintenance:

Understand client fee schedules and turnaround time (TAT) requirements to negotiate physician agreement terms.
Assist with the ongoing maintenance of physician profiles, including updating fees, doctor groups, and deactivating/reactivating physicians.
Make necessary updates to W9 forms and remit-to changes.
Research and reach out to potential physicians when new panel options are needed.
Onboarding New Physicians:

Oversee administrative tasks related to maintaining the physician panel.
Onboard new physicians based on client needs, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications and requirements.
Negotiate costs and contract terms according to established guidelines.
Gather required paperwork including agreements, applications, CVs, W9s, and NPDB.
Collaborate with leadership to set fees for agreements and provide instructions for system access.
Recruitment and Regional Network Management:

Recruit and manage physicians in key regional markets, specifically for Washington L & I clinic IME exam services and surrounding states.
Address licensing and certification requirements for physicians willing to allow unilateral recording and commit to blocked days at designated clinic locations.
Source and fulfill urgent network recruitment requests, providing regular updates on sourcing efforts.
Other Duties & Special Projects:

Assist with procuring exam locations and adding them to the database of available resources in target areas.
Take on other tasks as assigned to support business needs.
Qualifications:

Education & Credentials:

An Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Experience:

Prior experience in physician recruitment, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting, or equivalent transferable skills.
Business experience in healthcare and/or insurance is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies:

Familiarity with physician networks, recruitment processes, medical specialties, and terminology.
Strong understanding of state and federal compliance guidelines.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to think critically and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
Computer literacy and proficient typing skills.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

The position may require occasional travel, lifting, or bending as part of job duties.
This is a work-from-home position, so you should be prepared for long periods of sitting and computer work.
