Our client, a vibrant cultural institution, is seeking a Museum Coordinator to join their team. As a Museum Coordinator, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting the community's engagement with local history. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for educating others, and good computer skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Museum Coordinator (Part-time)

Location: Chippewa Falls, WI

Pay Range: $15 per hour

What's the Job?

• Execute quality museum tours that engage and educate visitors.
• Build new memberships through effective mailings and maintain a member distribution list.
• Engage with the Chippewa Falls Chamber to enhance community involvement.
• Create, plan, and execute fundraising opportunities to support museum initiatives.
• Assist with archiving historical items and maintain the cleanliness of the museum.

What's Needed?

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant role.
• Elementary Education degree or equivalent experience.
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage petty cash and provide accurate monthly reports to the Museum Board.
• Availability to work Thurs,Fri, and every other Sat (10am-3pm)
