We are looking for an RN with at least 5 years exp working in ICU/preop/PACU/OR/ED to work as a liaison between the hospital and pharma company. This is mainly a remote role with travel to 2 hospital systems (Mayo and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston). The position will be supporting a new medical device that is tested in the OR and providing support and guidance to the nursing staff.

What you will be doing:
- In collaboration with the OpsManager and CRA, support the execution of clinical investigations (feasibility, pivotal, and outcome) to validate the value proposition for the target market
- Train site staff on study methods
- Participates in recruitment and selection of study participants by interviewing and documenting medical history to determine compliance with eligibility requirements
- Support clinicians in the conduct of study methods and data collection, including performing medical tests, including but not limited to, vital signs and electrocardiograms
- Administers devices and performs patient assessments during clinic visits to determine presence of side effects; notifies PrincipleInvestigator of findings/issues
- Documents medical data in CRF to capture protocol requirements
- Help train field personnel and clinical application specialists on the clinical value proposition of our technologies by demonstrating product during launch events
- Assess study workflows and suggest continuous improvement opportunities
- Represent internally the voice of clinical end-users by spending significant time in the market with clinicians (up to 50%) and at high priority accounts, gaining a deep understanding of clinical workflow, delivery of care, and unmet operational requirements
- Ensures compliance with each study’s protocol by providing thorough review and documentation at each subject study visit
- Participates with the PI and study team to identify and prioritize the development of systems and infrastructure to maintain research quality and compliance
- Develop Study training material(s) and document Site training
- Oversee and work with clinical study sites during the “study enrollment phase” to ensure quality data and successful study enrollment.
- Contribute to CRF/eCRF developmentas applicable
- Attributes the assurance of Safety Reporting according to GCP Assistwith AE/SAE review as applicable
- Help train field personnel and clinical application specialists on the clinical value proposition of new hemodynamic products/solutions by demonstrating product during launch events
- Oversee clinical testing and validation of hemodynamic monitoring technologies, such as assessing workflows, delivering education plans, conducting clinical evaluations, supporting first customer use, optimizing the use of novel solutions, and encouraging ongoing adoption
- Represent internally the voice of clinical end-users by spending significant time in the market with clinicians (up to 50%) and at high priority accounts, gaining a deep understanding of clinical workflow, delivery of care, and unmet operational requirements
You are:
- Degree in Nursing or equivalent (e.g. apprenticeship as nurse)
- In‐depth knowledge of the critical care environment (OR and/or ICU)
- Deep knowledge of invasive hemodynamic monitoring techniques
- Very good communication and presentation skills
- High comfort level with technology and nursing informatics concepts
- Fluent English and German language capabilities
- Willingness to travel overnight up to 50% of the time, including internationally
