Medical Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

The "Glengarry Medical Clinic", a family medicine clinic located at the Hospital General Memorial Hospital of Alexandria (HGMH), is looking for a part-time medical administrative assistant / receptionist .
This position is for anyone who enjoys working with the public and who wishes to contribute to the health of our population.

The successful candidate team member will perform a variety of different tasks such as:

· Welcoming our patients and participating in the management of calls, emails, and faxes,

· Management the schedule of appointments (clinical and virtual),

· Manage medical records and update electronic patient records to electronic systems,

· Digitize paper documents into computerized files,

· Performs other related duties as assigned to improve patient experience.


Working requirements and conditions:
Education: High School Diploma (OSSD/DES). Medical Office Assistant training including medical terminology at Post High School level. Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in management or secretarial work is an asset. 3 years of medical Assistant/receptionist work experience. Bilingual French and English preferred.

Working hours:
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Salary: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour, Expected Start Date: 2024-12-19
• One evening clinic per week (Currently Monday)
