Location: Private 65-Acre Estate, South New Jersey

Position Overview:
We’re seeking a reliable, independent Housekeeper to manage the care and upkeep of our beautiful 65-acre estate in South New Jersey. This is an ideal role for a retired individual or couple looking for light work and housing in a serene, countryside setting. Living accommodations include a private, two-bedroom house on the property. The role involves overseeing the main residence and surrounding buildings, with additional responsibilities for shopping and light event preparation.

About the Estate:
The estate features an 11,000 sq. ft. main house, indoor pool, two smaller two-bedroom homes, a two-bedroom apartment, garages, a barn, and a craft distillery. The main house is used primarily from Thursday to Sunday, providing a balanced work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• House Management & Cleaning: Regularly clean and organize the main house and other buildings, including changing linens, handling laundry, and ensuring rooms are ready for guest visits.
• Property Oversight: Manage mail retrieval and organization, recycling, garbage maintenance, and general property tidiness.
• Shopping for Supplies: Handle household supply shopping as needed, including occasional food shopping in preparation for special events or gatherings.
• Event Support: Assist with light preparations for special events on the property, ensuring the main house and common areas are set up to welcome guests.
• Maintenance Coordination: Schedule repairs as needed and manage ground staff to keep the estate in excellent condition.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Housekeeping or Estate Management: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

• Good Communication Skills: Able to coordinate with owners and manage schedules for repairs and grounds staff
• Flexibility & Discretion: Comfortable with a schedule that aligns with the owners’ weekend property use and willing to assist with event preparations
