Private family looking hire a reliable  Family Assistant to help ease their lives in   Great Falls, VA!

The Ideal   Candidate:   Client is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Family Assistant to provide comprehensive support to their home and ensure the smooth functioning of their household. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have a caring and warm personality . The primary responsibilities of this role involve running errands, managing household projects, assisting with competition preparations, and providing general support to the family. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

The position is initially approximately 30 hours per week. However, there is potential for long-term growth based on workload and performance. If you are a dependable and efficient individual with a knack for managing household tasks, we invite you to apply for the Family Assistant position.

Responsibilities:

• Errand Management: Regularly run errands such as grocery shopping, visiting the UPS store, making returns, and accepting deliveries at the house.
• Ensure timely completion of errands and maintain an organized system for tracking and managing tasks.
• Household Projects: Assist with various projects around the house, including but not limited to replacing ski bindings, organizing pictures, arranging items in the home, restocking the wine collection (approximately 600 bottles), disposing of old furniture, finding a specialist to fix the husband's car, finding vendors for other projects, etc
• Handle tasks efficiently and effectively, following instructions provided by the family.
• Competition Support: Help the wife, a ballroom dancer, in preparing for competitions by assisting with ordering new shoes, stockings, fashion accessories, and any other necessary items for her competition kit.
• Maintain an updated list of required items and ensure timely procurement.
• Household Assistance: Provide general support to the family, anticipating their needs and addressing them proactively.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with the family.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks.
• Respect for privacy and maintaining confidentiality.
• Reliable transportation to run errands.
• Comfortable working with dogs.

• Work Hours:   M-F 30 hours a week to start- 40 hours after  getting to know each other. Flexible on hours, room to grow.
• Languages: English
• Experience:  5 Years of Experience
• References:   Minimum of 2 References
• Background:   Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Personality Traits: Intuitive, caring, proactive, open, communicates well.  

Position Compensation

• Salary:  $35-$40+/hour
• Living Accommodations:   Live Out
• Vacation: 2 weeks PTO
