Summary of Position:

This position is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of assigned oil and gas processing equipment at booster facilities and CPF’s, including the identification of problems or potential problems; documentation and production reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Intermediate operator positio
  • Follow safe operating practices and ensure compliance with Company Environment, Safety & Regulatory requirements. Including participation in Safety Meetings and complies with Near Miss Reporting, JSA reviews, Stop Work Authority, LOTO and SOP procedures.
  • Monitors all oil and gas production equipment, including SCADA, Heater treaters, pumps, instrument air, oil/gas gathering lines flow lines, engines, compressors, tanks, ECDs, etc.
  • Perform entry to basic level facility operating skills which will include but are not limited to: SCADA systems, tank gauging, proper operation, heater treaters, line heaters, Gas Lift systems and all VRUs, VRTs, VRLs and seal records.
  • Prepares oil/condensate tanks for sale of product, contacts dispatch on both oil and water loads to ensure produced fluids are taken from the lease sites in a timely manner.
  • Second on response to well pad gaslift compression issues to determine if needs called out or a production issue.
  • Daily/weekly oil and or gas pipeline pigging operations
  • Daily operations checks of gas gathering booster stations and central production facilities, maintenance operations, dehy operations, data gathering, conduct maintenance and ensure housekeeping meets expectations
  • Evaluates and reads gas meters, tank gauges, as well as converts measurements in order to ensure accurate and efficient documentation of lease operations
  • Operates a company vehicle safely, adheres to all driving laws and company vehicle use policies
  • Synchronize production data daily to provide timely production data to all users.
  • Conducts inspections as required to ensure compliance with CHPHE, EPA, State of Colorado, COGCC and Company requirements
  • Participates in route reviews to share knowledge of facilities with Foreman, Production Engineering, Facility Engineering and other operational teams.
  • Builds positive public image through daily land owner interaction.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, replace, and/or repair (or assist in the repair) of equipment
  • Work in all weather conditions including rain, snow, mud, etc. – work is performed in hazardous driving and working conditions all season of the year

Other Responsibilities:

  • Follow safe operating practices and ensure compliance with CIVI Environment, Safety & Regulatory requirements
  • Assure work performed adheres to CIVI standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • 4+ years prior experience in relevant Oil and Gas field experience. Previous experience as a Lease Operator/Pumper role preferred.

Travel Requirements :

  • Travel is required between field sites
