Job Description
The Executive Operations Lead is a high-visibility strategic partner that supports the CEO and Executive Leadership Team with effective decision-making, project management, and execution of strategic initiatives across all lines of business. You will be a crucial torchbearer guiding Wells' day-to-day rhythm, implementing the CEO's short and long-term vision, and collaborating with departments to ensure the growth of the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Support:
- Partner with senior executives to define and communicate milestones tied to strategic initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and market trends.
- Create and present operational analyses and opportunities for improvement to Executive and Senior leaders.
- Pinpoint and address core issues within business processes and make actionable recommendations.
- Operational Oversight:
- Oversee daily operations and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure organizational goals are met.
- Project Management:
- Plan, execute, and track cross-functional projects, ensuring timely completion.
- Manage timelines for executive-level initiatives.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Serve as a liaison between executives and other teams, ensuring alignment.
- Build and run cadence for leadership meetings, board meetings, and leadership offsites.
- Assess all inquiries directed to the CEO, determine priority and the proper course of action.
- Act as the point of contact for the CEO's team. Triage all incoming requests for the executive's time and work collaboratively with the CEO's Executive Assistant to ensure their calendar is aligned with the priorities of the organization.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- MBA Required - business administration, economics, finance, accounting, or related.
- Two years of experience in executive project management preferred. Relevant internship experience for recent MBA graduates considered.
- Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Versatile abilities, self-driven and ability to create your own path in a newly created role.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
- Possession of a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Consulting experience, with a focus on operations management.
- Proven success in a project coordination role.
- Strong project-reporting skills, with focus on interdepartmental communications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments in a productive manner.
- Ability to deal with large amounts of ambiguity across differing teams / projects at once.
- Creatively solve any problem that gets thrown your way with relentless execution.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture of things.
