Vert is in need to find and train an aspiring entry-level tech. This is a great stepping stone opportunity to learn the ropes under our field technician II and earn a 100k+ income after you obtain your license and can execute the role. This is a fast-paced work environment with a lot of growth opportunities. This job requires the ability to multitask and work as a team player. We give great training and support to ensure your success. This job has a lot of long-term security. Being able to work independently is important in this job as well. Responsibilities:

• Assist Techs in performing various duties, including courier, administrative tasks, errands, field tech support, etc
• Learn to work with minimal supervision, learn quickly, and possess excellent problem-solving skills
• Assist Technicians driving to job sites daily, and this position requires you to travel for work 100% of the time
• Assist in following full-time field technicians plan of action and schedule
• Receive required certifications for a mold and asbestos field technician
• Learn how the process on how to collect samples for mold, lead, and asbestos accurately
• Carry and use a ladder to get to testing spots
• Wear protective gear

Qualifications:

• Full-time and flexible availability
• Must have a good driving record and a current CA Driver's License
• 21 years of age or older
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug test
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required, a college degree is preferred
• Have the ability to verbally communicate with customers and coworkers
• Must be able to safely lift and carry boxes up to 50 lbs
• Must maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to obtain CSST certification immediately
• Must currently live in San Diego County
