POSITION SUMMARY:
Manage, identify, and monitor training needs. Manage and Implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Employees will be trained to all applicable company standards as identified on the company training matrix TR-401 and IATF 16949/ISO 9001.
1. Reviews existing training programs suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement.
2. Ensures training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
3. Maintains knowledge of new methods, techniques, and requirements applicable to the organization.
4. Identify problems/opportunities where training could improve.
5. Facilitates required and recommended training sessions.
6. Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
7. Develops and implements inspection policies, procedures, schedules routine inspections and drafts inspection reports of findings.
8. Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
10. Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures and workplace safety.
11. Monitors compliance with safety procedures.
12. Ensures material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible.
13. Maintains records of employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants as required.
14. Communicates with the customer regarding monthly safety reporting and provides documentation as required.
15. Complete Monthly Safety report for Sanko Japan.
16. Assists in hiring and employee orientation both with identifying qualified candidates and interviewing. Makes recommendations for hiring of qualified staff.
17. Other assignments as designated by the Shift Supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
2. Requires commitment to continuous improvement to meet ever increasing demands for improved quality, cost, and delivery performance.
3. The ability to communicate effectively with operators, other support staff, and the Shift Supervisor.
4. Ability to handle stressful employee situations in an effective manner.
5. Treat all employees in a consistent, fair, and respectful manner.
6. Ability to excel in a team-based environment.
7. Knowledge of OSHA, CDC, STATE and FEDERAL safety laws.
8. Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness.
9. Must use Plex and Microsoft office.
10. No education requirement.
