We have an exciting opportunity for a Brand Designer to join our team!

The Brand Designer is responsible for creating compelling, high-quality designs that effectively communicate architectural and engineering concepts to clients, stakeholders, and the public. The Brand Designer collaborates with marketing, business development, and technical teams to produce branded materials, proposals, presentations, digital content, and other marketing assets that align with the firm's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visual identity development: design and refine EAPC’s core visual elements including logos, typography, color palettes, and imagery to represent the brand's personality and values.
  • Marketing materials creation: design marketing materials like brochures, website graphics, advertisements, social media visuals, signage, and promotional materials that align with the brand identity.
  • Brand strategy collaboration: work closely with the Director of Marketing and other team members to understand brand positioning, target audience, and develop design concepts that resonate with EAPC’s customer base.
  • Concept development: generate creative ideas and present design concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine the final design.
  • Design consistency: ensure all brand visuals across different platforms maintain a cohesive look and feel.
  • Market research: stay updated on industry trends and design best practices to create visually appealing and relevant designs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in graphic design. Creative and technical writing experience is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Expertise in graphic design principles like layout, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
  • Mastery of design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Ability to communicate design ideas effectively and collaborate as part of a highly functioning, deadline-driven team.
  • Ability to prioritize and follow through on assigned tasks.
  • Ability to generate innovative design concepts and adapt to evolving brand needs.
  • Be a creative thinker and innovator of ideas with a passion for design and a stickler with details.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

The position will report directly to the Marketing Director and will work as an integrated member of a multi-discipline, in-house team of engineers, architects, and drafting technicians.

Compensation is based on the applicant's skills, education, and other qualifications.
