*SUMMARY OF POSITION: *
Lead the successful finished goods logistics operation for KC’s Mill Distribution Network and Overflow sites. This role will help create and drive operations standardization across the network, and establish new/improved capabilities with focus in the areas of operational execution, productivity, physical layout & flow optimization, space capacity planning, 3PL Cost Model development, 3PL relationship management, strategic/transformational program development, and supporting the implementation and operation of finished goods automation. We are in the process of transforming our DCs to automated facilities with a high level of complexity requiring a technical operating model and operational support structure for our AGVs/Robotics.
Through influence without authority and/or direct reporting relationships, the position works collaboratively to identify and direct appropriate process and systems that elevate site program maturity, effectively manage risks, and deliver continuous improvement in occupational health and safety results. Site Health & Safety Manager will lead a team of professionals that will assist in delivering on accountabilities and reports to Mill/Site Managers.
- Key Responsibilities:*

- Lead Mill DC Logistics Operations for the Mill DC network to successfully deliver against expected safety, quality, delivery and cost results for the business
- Create and drive a Mill DC Logistics strategy that delivers best-in-class Logistics operations. This includes areas such as labor management, 3PL management, warehouse layouts, network productivity management, cost models, racking/density, and technology/equipment investment.
- Has cost management responsibility for $190MM+ of storage & handling expense on our P&L, and capable of explaining gaps and implementing corrective action to keep budget within control.
- Identify and implement distribution process improvements that will enable business units to improve service to Customers or that enhance productivity, ultimately decreasing Distribution Expense by 10% over 3-5 years
- Project Management involving effectively managing all aspects of logistics projects and resources to ensure timely and effective solutions.
- Work with internal operational teams and warehouse organizations to design custom solutions for the respective business unit.
- Manage workflows of team assigned to respective projects.
- Integrate data analytics and insights for improvement recommendations and overall efficiency.
- Act as a core member of the Logistics Operations Leadership Team
- Provides expert technical advice, coaching and counseling for Mill DC/Logistics Operations to peers and the organization in general.
- Be externally oriented to gain an understanding of industry best practices, how these practices match our current capabilities, and to identify process improvements that will enable us to move towards a Best-in-Class status.
- Responsible for development, rollout and sustaining of the Logistics Operations playbook and metrics and incorporating the best-known methods and processes across all work-streams.
*ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: *
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years’ experience in distribution/logistics operations management
- Proven ability to successfully lead a team, build talent, and develop an engaging culture
- P&L, Budget Management Experience
- Experience leading/managing relationships with 3rd Party Logistics Providers (3PLs)
- Additional skill/capability requirements include strong analytical, results focus, ability to create strategy, strong communication, ability to problem solving, solid business acumen, ability to lead and coach change management, and risk management
- Preferred Qualifications:*
- Blue-Yonder WMS general knowledge
- SAP general knowledge
- Experience in Automated Fulfillment Operations (AGVs)
- Contract management general knowledge
- Prior mill experience
- Travel may include approximately 15-20%+ of work time, as dictated by operational needs. Employee does have control over own travel schedule to balance other professional or personal commitments.*

*Total rewards at Kimberly-Clark includes pay and a full package of benefits that can be tailored to individual needs. The anticipated pay range for this job has a range of $115,000 to $150,000 in addition to bonus potential. Individual pay levels will be based on multiple factors including, but are not limited to, location, role, skill set, and level of experience.*
